While we run a very frugal campaign, there are many things like mailers and TV ads that are not cheap.
Our Facebook page is arguably the place where Fremont politics are discussed more than anywhere else.
THANK YOU for Visiting My Website!!
I’m proud to be a member of the Fremont City Council. I’ve greatly enjoyed my time there and would love to do it for another four years. I think I deserve to be re-elected for the following reasons:
I am open and honest – I have regularly posted on my blog and on my Facebook page information about Council activities. I send out quarterly emails updating residents. If you look through this website you’ll see that I provide much detailed information. I also tell it like it is. I’m happy to talk about the City doing things right, but I’ll also admit when we make mistakes.
I keep my promises – I only made two campaign promises in 2012 and I have kept them both. First, I promised not to take campaign donations from developers. I also promised not to approve new residential development if we didn’t have school facilities for the kids of those developments to go to. I will make those same promises for my 2016 campaign.
I listen to the residents of Fremont and respect their concerns – I campaigned by talking to literally thousands of Fremont residents. I believe I understand what the people of Fremont want. When residents come to Council meetings, I listen and try to put myself in their shoes. I have a strong track record of voting on the side of Fremont residents.
Get Involved
I am looking for people who want to put up a yard sign, talk to their neighbors, knock on doors, make phone calls, help with events, host a house party, write letters to the editor, distribute fliers, or whatever else you think will help. Click here to sign up as a volunteer.
Campaigns are expensive. I need your donation to help me challenge business as usual in Fremont. As mentioned, I am not taking donations from developers. It’s up to us to fund candidates who are beholden only to the people of Fremont. Please click here to donate.
